Resolutions – Free EP

Today we’ve released a free EP comprising the song Resolutions from our second album Fight Less, Win More along with 5 unreleased tracks. Head over to our Bandcamp page here to download them all, absolutely free. The extra tracks were recorded by us in Cornwall and back home in London around the recording of FL,WM.

There’s also a new video for Resolutions, which is a live performance of the song at Cargo in London on our recent tour round the UK with Still Corners- watch it below.

Finally, we’ve got the following live dates coming up, including playing at the End of the Road festival in August alongside Grandaddy, Grizzly Bear, Beach House and Midlake, which we’re particularly excited about:

Last summer, we played a show at Fold Gallery in London Fields. Matt Reed, who made our ‘Little Joanne’ video amongst many other things, filmed it and put together this clip of us playing ‘Heavy Lifting’.

UK tour with Still Corners

We’re heading out on tour round the UK with the excellent
Still Corners next month from Friday 3rd February.
We’re excited to play with them again (we were on the same bill at
Autumn Falls in Brussels in November) and also to visit a couple
of cities we’ve not played before. Here are the details:

Friday 3rd – Manchester, Kraak Gallery
Saturday 4th – Glasgow, Captain’s Rest
Monday 6th – Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
Tuesday 7th – Nottingham, Bodega
Wednesday 8th – London, Cargo

Update, latest, news, etc

2011 has been a good one for us, so a big thank you for your support this year. Personal highlights include but are not limited to: the sold out launch show for our second album ‘Fight Less, Win More’ at the Lexington in London; going back on Marc Riley’s 6 Music show to do another session; supporting Pete and the Pirates at the Scala; and playing our first shows in Europe supporting Califone. You can watch/listen/look at some of those things by clicking on them there hyperlinks.

Our label Stolen Recordings are doing a deal, for a limited period, where you can buy both our albums for just £15- go here for more details. There are T-shirts and tote bags up there too if you like that kind of thing. Also, you can still download both Orienteers and The Homefront pt. II from the new album absolutely free here.

We are busy cooking up plans for 2012 and will announcing some more tour dates (including more in the UK this time) soon. If you’re hoping we’ll be coming to a town near you, why not drop us a line to let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
